We had a great time staying at this hotel, the location was amazing right in the heart of the city.

This chain hotel is lifted above the ordinary by the staff who are unfailingly polite, friendly and helpful. The rooms are fairly basic but comfortable. The location is great, across the road from the Rathaus and Machsee and under 10 mins walk from the city centre. As is the norm in Germany, the breakfast buffet is fantastic, though pricey at €18 per head, though ours was included in the room deal through Booked.net

Anything extra such as parking is quite expensive, though I did manage to grab a spot on the street for a week at no charge, but I was lucky. Parking is €20 per day at the hotel though there is a commercial car park 5 mins walk away in Osterstrasse at €10 per day. WiFi access is also very costly which is a pet hate as the marginal cost to the hotel is close to zero. I guess they make a shilling from fleecing the corporate market.

The staff @ Mercure Hannover City were stupendious,fromthe check in staffto bar staff & dining room staff.We were there for Womens Lacrosse World Champinships ,representing Canada.Staff treated us like family & it was an enjoyable trip.I Will be returning to Hannover & will definately stay @ The Mercure Hannover City!!

Delicious breakfast with plenty of choices available 😋. It's great that the airport is only 15 km away, making it quite convenient.

I had a fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel. The location is perfect, within easy walking distance of the metro system, making it convenient to explore the city. The staff here are incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any requests or questions. The room was spacious and clean, providing enhanced comfort. I absolutely loved the variety of amenities available in the room, including the in-room safe, mini-bar, and tea and coffee facilities. The hotel also offers a range of services such as room service, dry cleaning, and bicycle hire, ensuring that guests have everything they need for a comfortable stay.

I would highly recommend this hotel to families looking for a comfortable and convenient stay.

Great value for money, spacious and comfortable room with excellent breakfast offerings. The location near the lake and HDI stadium was perfect, and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

The staff were excellent. I have never been to a hotel where the staff was as friendly and accomodating. The whole experience was wonderful. Julie, Michael at the front desk and Dody in the restaurant where absolutley wonderful. Food was good. Location was excellent as well.

I have nothing to say that is negative other than the bed was a bit hard but I would not complain about it.

The staff were exceptionally helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfasts were excellent, we ate there in the evening too and small menu but lovely food.

Cant complain about anything, however one thing I would say....I would find it hard pushed to say the rooms were 4 star, a good 3 but certainly not a 4 even though I have no complaints about them at all.

I would suggest to improve availability of free Internet access.

Restaurant staff was very professional and cordial as were the reception staff.

Not a complaint against the hotel but more the supply and demand theory that seems to be prevalent in big trade show cities - if there is an audience and the all need rooms - the hotels are not shy about the rate increase during such events. I think given the rates and the number of business men staying at these hotels - internet services could be offered free of charge.
